What We Do
Estate Planning
Michelle J. Weil dedicates her practice to comprehensive estate planning — helping individuals protect their assets, honor their wishes, and provide for the people they love. Whether your needs are straightforward or your situation calls for more tailored planning, Michelle will guide you through every decision with clarity and care.
OUR PRIMARY FOCUS
Last Will & Testament
Clearly documents how you want your assets distributed and names the people you trust to carry out your wishes.
Revocable Living Trust
Avoids probate and keeps the transfer of your estate out of court.
Financial Power of Attorney
Ensures someone you trust can manage your finances if you’re ever unable to.
Health Care Power of Attorney
Names a trusted person to make medical decisions on your behalf.
Advance Directives
Puts your health care wishes in writing so they’re honored, even in the most difficult moments.
Additional Practice Areas
Guardianship for Adults
When a loved one can no longer make safe decisions for themselves, a guardian steps in to protect their wellbeing. Michelle guides families through the court process to establish legal authority to care for an incapacitated adult with compassion and clarity.
Conservatorship for Adults and Minors
A conservatorship gives a trusted person court-appointed authority to manage the financial affairs of someone who cannot do so themselves — whether an aging parent or a minor who has inherited assets. Michelle helps families navigate this process with care.
Probate Administration
Settling an estate after a loss is never easy. Michelle provides steady, compassionate guidance through every step of the probate process — from filing the initial petition to distributing assets — so families can focus on what matters most.
Probate Litigation
When disputes arise over a will, an estate, or a guardianship or conservatorship, Michelle provides skilled, strategic representation to protect her clients’ rights and reach resolution as efficiently as possible.
